Hairspray (2007)
In 1962 Baltimore, a vivacious and pleasantly plump teenager with big hair and even bigger dreams dreams of dancing on a local TV show. Her rise to telegenic fame leads her to become an unexpected advocate for the integration of the show, challenging the station’s discriminatory policies and rallying her friends behind the cause.
