Hold the Dark (2018)
A retired naturalist and wolf expert is summoned to a remote Alaskan village by a mother whose son was taken by wolves. After he begins his search for the pack, the boy's father returns from the Iraq War, sending the village into a spiral of violence and vengeance. The naturalist is drawn into a brutal and primal mystery that is far more complex and human than any animal predation.
