Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016)
A rebellious city kid is sent to live with a new foster family on a remote farm in the New Zealand bush. After a tragic event, child welfare services plan to take him away. He and his gruff, unwilling foster uncle flee into the vast wilderness to avoid capture. The mismatched pair must survive the elements and evade a national manhunt led by an obsessive child welfare officer, all while forming an unlikely bond.
