I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997)
Four friends accidentally hit a man with their car and, in a panic, dump his body into the sea. They make a pact to never speak of it again. One year later, they each begin receiving ominous notes stating "I know what you did last summer." A hook-wielding figure stalks them, forcing them to confront the secret they thought was buried.
