Incir Reçeli (2011)
Djemal is a retired, conservative literature professor who lives a quiet, orderly life in a small Turkish town. His routine is shattered when a free-spirited, much younger artist named Alev arrives to claim a room she has rented from him. Her unconventional lifestyle, loud music, and provocative art clash violently with Djemal's strict sensibilities. An initial war of attrition gradually gives way to an unexpected and tender connection, as two people from different worlds find common ground and challenge each other's long-held beliefs about life and love.
