Jaws (1975)
During a summer weekend, a young woman is killed by a shark in the waters of a small New England beach town. The town's police chief wants to close the beaches, but the mayor refuses, fearing the loss of tourist revenue. A marine biologist and a grizzled fisherman join the chief to hunt the massive great white shark.
