Ju-on: The Grudge (2002)
A malevolent curse is born where a person dies in the grip of powerful rage. This curse inhabits a house, and whoever enters is pursued by its vengeful spirits. The narrative unfolds in a non-linear series of terrifying encounters, as residents and visitors alike fall prey to the supernatural force. The ghosts, a pale boy and a woman with a haunting croak, bring a slow, inescapable dread to all who cross the threshold.
