Kursk (2012)
The crew of the Russian nuclear submarine K-141 Kursk prepares for a routine exercise in the Barents Sea. A catastrophic explosion rocks the vessel, sinking it to the ocean floor. The surviving sailors are trapped in a dark, freezing compartment, awaiting rescue as the Russian navy struggles with a flawed response and international aid is complicated by politics and secrecy.
