Lethal Weapon 2 (1989)
Los Angeles police detectives Riggs and Murtaugh are assigned to protect a fast-talking federal witness involved in a case against a South African diplomatic envoy. They soon discover the diplomats are using their immunity to run a massive smuggling operation, forcing the duo to battle criminals who hide behind diplomatic protection.
