Luce (2019)
A married couple has raised Luce, a former child soldier from Eritrea, whom they adopted. He has become a model student and a star athlete, the pride of his community. When his teacher discovers disturbing content in a school assignment, she alerts his parents. This incident triggers a series of events that forces everyone to re-examine their perceptions of Luce. The parents are caught between their love for their son and growing doubts, while Luce feels the pressure of the perfect image everyone projects onto him, leading to a tense unraveling of truth.
