M (1931)
A city is terrorized by a serial killer who preys on children. The police investigation is so intense that it disrupts the city's criminal underworld. The criminals decide to hunt the murderer down themselves, leading to a manhunt that culminates in a kangaroo court where the killer is forced to face his crimes.
