Made in Dagenham (2010)
In 1968 England, Rita O'Grady, a machinist at the Ford factory in Dagenham, leads her female colleagues in a fight for equality. The women, who sew car seat covers, are reclassified as unskilled labor, prompting them to go on strike. What begins as a dispute over grading evolves into a landmark battle for equal pay, challenging the company's entrenched sexism and garnering national attention, while also creating tension within their own community and families.
