Major League (1989)
The new owner of a Cleveland baseball team assembles a team of seemingly hopeless players—an aging catcher, a wild pitcher, a selfish slugger—with the secret intention of fielding a losing team to justify moving the franchise. To her surprise, the mismatched group of misfits bonds together and begins winning games, igniting the city and threatening her selfish plans.
