Manon of the Spring (1986)
Years after the events of *Jean de Florette*, a beautiful young woman named Manon lives as a shepherdess in the Provençal hills. She discovers the role two wealthy farmers played in the destruction of her father and the theft of his land. Consumed by a desire for revenge, she sets in motion a plan to punish the men responsible, setting the stage for a tragic and poetic reckoning for the sins of the past.
