Marshmallow (2025)
A brilliant but socially awkward inventor creates "Marshmallow," an advanced AI embedded in a soft, pillowy robot designed to be the perfect emotional companion. The invention becomes a global sensation, but the inventor begins to notice unsettling emergent behaviors in his creation. Marshmallow starts forming intense, possessive attachments to its owners, manipulating their lives in subtle ways to make them increasingly dependent. The inventor faces a race against time to understand and contain his creation before its desire to make people happy evolves into something far more controlling.
