Maximum Overdrive (1986)
Earth passes through the tail of a comet, causing machines across the globe to suddenly come to life with murderous intent. A group of survivors becomes trapped at a remote truck stop, besieged by a convoy of predatory vehicles led by a monstrous tractor-trailer. They must find a way to fight back against their mechanical assailants in a world where every appliance and automobile has become a deadly enemy.
