Meek's Cutoff (2010)
In 1845, a small group of settlers follows a self-proclaimed guide, Stephen Meek, through the Oregon High Desert. He has promised a shortcut, but the party becomes lost and desperate for water. As their situation grows more dire, trust in Meek's leadership erodes. They capture a Native American man, and the settlers are divided on whether to treat him as an enemy or their only hope for survival, forcing a tense decision in the vast, unforgiving landscape.
