mother! (2017)
A woman lives with her husband, a celebrated poet, in a secluded, idyllic mansion she is painstakingly restoring. Their peaceful existence is shattered by the arrival of uninvited guests, a couple who insinuate themselves into their home. The situation escalates rapidly from awkward hospitality to surreal and terrifying chaos as more and more people arrive, all drawn to her husband and disregarding her. The house becomes a nightmarish landscape as she struggles to protect her home and sanity from the encroaching madness.
