Not Okay (2022)
An ambitious but overlooked editorial assistant fakes a trip to Paris to boost her social media presence. When a real terrorist attack occurs in the city, she is forced to maintain the elaborate lie that she was there and traumatized. Her online persona skyrockets to fame as a survivor, but the guilt of her deception grows as she connects with real victims. She becomes trapped in a web of her own making, enjoying the sympathy she knows she doesn't deserve.
