One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975)
A rebellious criminal pleads insanity to avoid prison labor and is sent to a mental institution. He quickly clashes with the oppressive and cold-hearted Nurse Ratched who runs the ward. His charismatic, free-spirited behavior challenges her authority and inspires the other patients to question their own submissive existence, sparking a battle of wills.
