Paan Singh Tomar (2012)
The true story of Paan Singh Tomar, a soldier in the Indian Army who becomes a celebrated athlete, winning a gold medal at the National Games. After retiring, he returns to his village, where a violent land dispute with a local strongman forces him to take up arms. When the law fails to protect him and his family, the former champion is pushed into a life of banditry, becoming one of the most feared dacoits in the Chambal valley. The film chronicles his tragic transformation from a national hero to an outlaw.
