Paddleton (2019)
Two neighbors, Michael and Andy, share a deep and unconventional friendship built on routine and their love for a simple game they invented called Paddleton. Their lives are upended when Michael is diagnosed with terminal cancer. He decides to end his life on his own terms, and Andy agrees to accompany him on a road trip to obtain the medication. The journey becomes a poignant and sometimes humorous exploration of their bond, as they confront the reality of loss and the meaning of friendship in the face of an inevitable goodbye.
