Patch Adams (1998)
A medical student believes that laughter and compassion are as important to healing as medicine. He challenges the staid conventions of his medical school by using humor to connect with patients, often clashing with the disapproving administration. His goal is to build a medical center that treats the patient as a whole person, not just a collection of symptoms.
