During the Thai-Chinese war, a man named Mak returns to his remote riverside home with his four soldier friends to meet his beloved wife and their new-born son. The village is rife with rumors that his wife actually died during childbirth and is now a ghost. The friends become increasingly terrified as they witness a series of strange and supernatural events, convinced that Mak is living with a spirit. The film blends comedy and horror as the group tries to uncover the truth about the wife while dealing with their own mounting fear.
