Perfect Blue (1997)
A pop singer decides to leave her chart-topping group to pursue an acting career. Her transition is rocky, and she takes on a disturbing role in a crime drama. As the lines between her reality and the fiction of her role begin to blur, she is stalked by an obsessed fan and haunted by a ghostly version of her former pop idol self, descending into a terrifying paranoia.
