Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975)
On a summer day in 1900, a group of students and teachers from a strict Australian girls' boarding school go on a picnic to the remote Hanging Rock geological formation. During the outing, three girls and one teacher vanish without a trace. The subsequent investigation yields no answers, and the inexplicable disappearance has a profound and unsettling effect on the school and the surrounding community.
