Pink Floyd: The Wall (1982)
A rock star’s mental state deteriorates from isolation and traumatic memories of his past. As he sits in a hotel room, his psyche constructs a metaphorical wall, brick by brick, built from the pain of a fatherless childhood, an oppressive school system, and a failed marriage. His hallucinations blend animation and live action, depicting his descent into madness.
