Planet of the Apes (2001)
A dedicated astronaut on a deep space mission crash-lands on a mysterious planet where intelligent, talking apes are the dominant species and humans are primitive creatures hunted and enslaved. Captured and taken to the ape city, he must convince a sympathetic chimpanzee of his intelligence to survive. He leads a revolt among the enslaved humans while desperately trying to uncover the secret of this upside-down world and find a way back to Earth, all while being hunted by the planet's ruthless simian general.
