Pleasantville (1998)
Two modern teenagers are magically transported into a black-and-white 1950s television sitcom where life is perfectly simple and orderly. Their contemporary attitudes and knowledge begin to disrupt the serene town, introducing concepts like art, literature, and emotion. This awakening causes color to spread through the community, leading to tension between the transformed citizens and those clinging to the old ways.
