Poltergeist (1982)
A suburban family's home is invaded by powerful and malevolent ghosts who communicate through the television set. The peaceful spirits initially intrigue them, but they soon turn hostile and abduct the family's youngest daughter into their spectral dimension, forcing them to call upon parapsychologists to get her back.
