Pretty in Pink (1986)
A working-class student is asked out by a wealthy and popular boy from her high school. Despite their mutual attraction, their burgeoning relationship is strained by the stark differences in their social circles and the disapproval of their friends. She must navigate the pressures of high school cliques and her own insecurities to decide if their connection is strong enough to overcome the class divide.
