A talented but undiscovered artist in a gritty city becomes fascinated with a charismatic socialite who seems to float through a world of glamour and privilege. The artist becomes obsessed with capturing their essence, blurring the lines between portrait subject and muse. This intense, one-sided relationship begins to consume the artist's life and work, leading them to uncover the dark compromises and emptiness that lie beneath the glittering surface of their subject's perfect world.
