Professor Marston & the Wonder Women (2017)
The film tells the true story of psychologist William Moulton Marston, the creator of the Wonder Woman comic book character. It focuses on his unconventional personal life, including his relationship with his wife, Elizabeth, and their mutual relationship with Olive Byrne, a former student. The trio lived in a polyamorous partnership, and their shared life, along with Marston's psychological theories about dominance and submission, directly inspired the creation of his iconic feminist superhero.
