Raees (2017)
Set in Gujarat, India, the film follows Raees Alam, a man who rises from a small-time bootlegger to a powerful liquor empire kingpin during the era of prohibition. His motto is that no business is small if it's run well. His rise attracts the attention of a determined police officer, Majmudar, who makes it his life's mission to bring Raees down. A high-stakes cat-and-mouse game ensues, testing the limits of power and ambition.
