Immediately following the events of the first film, a SWAT team is sent to escort a health official into the quarantined apartment building. They are joined by a pair of teenagers who sneak in. Inside, they find the building overrun by zombie-like infected victims. The team soon learns the virus has a demonic origin, and the horror is far from over.
