Rock the Kasbah (2015)
A down-on-his-luck music manager gets one last chance to book a tour for his only client, a past-her-prime singer, in Afghanistan. After being stranded and robbed in Kabul, he discovers a young Pashtun girl with an extraordinary singing voice. Defying local customs that forbid women from singing, he decides to manage her and try to get her on the popular television show, Afghan Star.
