Rope (1948)
Two intellectual young men strangle a former classmate to death to commit the perfect crime, purely for the thrill. They hide the body in their apartment and then host a dinner party for the victim's friends and family, using the chest containing the body as a serving table to demonstrate their supposed superiority.
