Sand Castle (2017)
A young American soldier in Iraq is assigned to a unit tasked with repairing a water pumping station in a hostile rural village. The mission, meant to win the hearts and minds of the locals, is met with constant danger from insurgents and the apathy of the villagers. The soldier questions the purpose of the war and the cost of their efforts.
