Sarah's Key (2010)
An American journalist in Paris researches the WWII Vel' d'Hiv roundup, where French police arrested thousands of Jewish families. Her investigation becomes personal as she uncovers the story of a young girl who locked her brother in a cupboard for safekeeping during the raid. The journalist's life becomes intertwined with this decades-old tragedy.
