Scanners (1981)
A man discovers he is a "scanner," possessing powerful telepathic and telekinetic abilities. He is recruited by a security agency to hunt down an elusive and immensely powerful renegade scanner who is assembling an army of his kind for a destructive purpose. The two engage in a escalating series of psychic confrontations, leading to a final, explosive battle of minds.
