Schindler's List (1993)
A greedy and opportunistic German businessman arrives in Krakow at the onset of World War II, hoping to profit from the war. He staffs his factory with Jewish workers for cheap labor. Over time, he is profoundly affected by the brutal persecution he witnesses, and he begins spending his fortune to save as many lives as possible by keeping them on his "list" of essential workers.
