Serpico (1973)
An idealistic New York City police officer is determined to live and work by his own strict moral code. He is increasingly disturbed by the rampant corruption he witnesses within the department. His refusal to accept bribes or participate in illegal activities isolates him from his fellow officers, making him a target and forcing him to risk his own safety to expose the systemic graft.
