Shane (1953)
A weary gunfighter tries to leave his violent past behind and finds work as a farmhand for a homesteader family. He becomes a father figure to their young son and is drawn into a conflict between the homesteaders and a ruthless cattle baron who wants to drive them off their land, forcing him to pick up his gun one last time.
