Shaolin (2011)
A proud and ruthless warlord, Hou Jie, experiences a devastating defeat that leaves him defeated and abandoned. Seeking refuge, he stumbles into the Shaolin Temple, a place of peace and discipline he once mocked. As he recovers among the monks, he is slowly humbled by their compassion and wisdom. He begins to learn the ways of Kung Fu and Buddhism, seeking redemption for his violent past. However, his former ambitions and the violent world he left behind soon threaten the sanctuary that has given him a new path.
