Sing Street (2016)
To impress a mysterious girl he meets in 1980s Dublin, a teenage boy claims he’s in a band. He now must quickly form one to prove it. Recruiting a group of schoolmates, he starts writing original songs and making music videos. Through the creative process of making music, he finds an escape from his troubled family life and a vibrant form of self-expression, all while navigating the complexities of young love.
