Singin' in the Rain (1952)
In 1927 Hollywood, a silent film production company and its glamorous leading couple struggle to transition into the new era of "talkies." The studio's first sound film is a disaster, plagued by the leading lady's squeaky voice and poor acting. The male star, his musician friend, and his talented aspiring actress girlfriend conspire to secretly dub the film and save the production.
