Sleeping Beauty (1959)
A beautiful princess is cursed by an evil fairy to prick her finger on a spindle and die on her sixteenth birthday. A good fairy softens the curse, changing death into an enchanted sleep that can only be broken by true love's kiss. The king orders all spindles destroyed, but the curse finds a way, and the princess falls into a deep sleep, enveloping her entire kingdom in thorns.
