Smokey and the Bandit (1977)
A charismatic bootlegger is hired to illegally transport 400 cases of beer from Texas to Georgia in 28 hours. He recruits a runaway bride to drive the truck while he leads the way in his Pontiac Trans Am, distracting the police. They are pursued by a relentless Texas sheriff, leading to a cross-country chase.
