Soylent Green (1973)
In an overpopulated, polluted, and dying future New York City, a cynical police detective investigates the murder of a wealthy executive who worked for the company that produces the world's food supply, a processed food called Soylent Green. His investigation leads him to a horrific discovery about the true source of the food that the masses depend on for survival.
