State of Play (2009)
A seasoned investigative journalist and his rookie blogger partner investigate the murder of a congressman’s mistress. The case grows increasingly complex as their research points to the congressman, who is the journalist’s old college friend, and a powerful private defense contractor. They must navigate political cover-ups, corporate espionage, and their own conflicting loyalties to uncover the truth behind the killing.
